U.S. Government Accountability Office

The "investigative arm of Congress" is an independent agency that makes available collections of reports and testimonies on its website. Topics include climate change, homeland security, disaster preparedness, etc. Users can also report suspected federal funds fraud.

U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)

The SEC provides a gateway to the EDGAR database which contains current and past filings by all public corporations. Also links to industry news and individual investor information.

Use this quick link to find a particular journal in the ProQuest databases (ABI/INFORM, Academic Research Library, and ProQuest Medical Library)! At the Publications box, just type in the journal name to find out whether the journal is available and dates of coverage. This is the most comprehensive business database available today, and comprises three separate databases: ABI/INFORM Dateline, ABI/INFORM Global and ABI/INFORM Trade & Industry. The combined package includes over 7,800 journal titles, and can be searched all at once. Subjects covered include business and economic conditions, corporate strategies, management techniques and competitive and product information, both nationally and internationally.
